About Mark Duehmig
I've been taking photographs for over 30 years. Being the son of an artist and an engineer, I grew up balancing technology and creativity in everything I did. This has allowed me to use my camera equipment in interesting ways - giving me incredible images taken in over 40 countries, across six continents. My cameras and I have traveled from the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego to the oceans off Alaska. My boots are colored by the sands of Australia, Egypt, Iraq and Cameroon. Whether climbing glaciers in Argentina or landing on an aircraft carrier in the Indian Ocean, I keep shooting. To me, taking photographs, getting that image, is a passion. A mission.
